There are lots of free resources on the internet that are useful for Internet Marketers, or indeed newcomers while they learn. On this page I’m going to detail some of my favourites and even give you a demonstration of a free resource that I really like!

First we will talk about webspace. Although you can promote affiliate programmes without your own webspace I think that it’s good to get web pages of your own that  you can alter as you wish. It’s possible to get free website hosting, but with many of the companies offering it their adverts are placed prominently on your pages.

The best bet for newcomers who either haven’t got much money to spend, or want to be cautious and learn more before they spend is to get a blog. The most popular free blogs are at Blogger.com and Wordpress. I have both but I prefer Wordpress and indeed this is a Wordpress blog, but hosted by myself.

I have a couple of free blogs but I outgrew them when I wanted more flexibility. However free blogs are a good place to start. You can add Google Ads to your free blogs and earn some money that way, but earnings depend upon the amount of targeted visitors that you get.

Should you wish to add a product you can find them freely to affiliate to at Clickbank MarketplaceCommission Junction and Tradedoubler.  There are many more companies that you can affiliate to and easily found with a Google search, but those are the 3 most popular.

It isn’t easy to make affiliate sales so please don’t go into it thinking that all you have to do is add a link to your site or blog and sit back and wait for the money to come rolling in. You need to market your website or blog and chosen products. I will be adding more information to help you to learn how to market, but in the meantime you can find good information at Eprofits Centre and my article directory. It’s all free information and worth reading. In particular I recommend that you check out the Internet Marketing, Affiliate Marketing, Article Marketing, Search Engine Optimization and Blogging categories.

Getting plenty of useful information whilst you are setting up your Internet business is a must. There are lots of ebooks, courses and websites dedicated to teaching newbies, but there are also lots of forums where members can ask or reply to questions and recieve lots of help.

I have 2 favourite forums, the Warrior Forum and Conquer Your Niche. The Warrior Forum can be a bit daunting for newcomers, most of the members are really nice and helpful but there are a handful who are up their own backsides. Even so I wouldn’t worry about posting there or just browsing, there is an awful lot of good up to date information on the Warrior forum.

Conquer Your Niche isn’t as busy and I’ve never seen any nastyness there. There you will also find lots of up to date information with the added bonus of getting free advertising that has actually worked for me.

There are lots of free advertising sites around the Internet but the only one that I’ve really used on odd ocasions is The Free Advertising Blog. You can post an ad there every 7 days. Because I haven’t used free advertising sites much I can’t say how successful they are, but I’ve found a list of free advertising sites for you to check out. Maybe I should check it out myself when I have the time.

My current favourite freebie is the Instant Bonus Page Creator. It’s very new and you can see a demonstration of it below. It’s really easy to use and all of those bonuses are further free resources.
