Three Tips For Free Traffic

In the world of Internet Marketing traffic is the life blood. The more traffic you get exponentially increases your ability to make sales. Achieving this is not always so easy, so here are three methods for getting free traffic to your site.

The first thing you can do is add a signature to your forum posts as well as in your emails. In forums, there is often the ability to add a link to your site through the your signature. Each forum software typically has its own code which will allow you to create a hyper link to your own site. Something to avoid however is creating a crazy wild signature full of colors and large fonts. You will have the forum administrator all over you in no time. The most successul approach is to create a simple signature with a catchy title or a call to action and your link.

Be sure to find the most popular forum sites in your niche. Once you become a member, make up to fifteen posts and then add your signature with a link back to your site. It is important to have your link connect to an offer of a free report in order to bring some value to those who choose to subscribe to your newsletter.

Another great tip for creating free traffic is through social networking sites(called web 2.0)which have become massively popular. Many ask, what is web 2.0. My brief explanation is that it is user driven content rather than content created by businesses. What is important about these sites is they rank well with the search engines. Currently, the three hottest sites are Squidoo, Hub Pages and Twitter.

It is important to ensure you place valuable, content rich pages on each of these sites. Be sure to include keywords which will enhance your search engine results. This does not mean you want to stuff your content with illogically placed words. Search engines will actually penalize you for keyword stuffing. So when you create your content write logically and place the keywords appropriately throghout your information.

The last, but perhaps the most important aspect to your free traffic strategy is the use of video. Whether it’s home made, a Camtasia screen cast or some other type of video, they get views. Video has emerged as the most important medium on the internet and it is vital that you include it in any traffic generation strategy. Certainly it goes without saying the most popular video site online remains to be YouTube, so familiarize yourself with the process of adding videos.

I have tried to outline three basic strategies for generating free traffic to your site. Use signatures for posts and emails, get on to social networking sites and create some amazing YouTube Videos. You will be amazed at the results and the increase in your income.

How To Properly Post Posters

After poster printing, your next hurdle should be how to post your posters. You may think that this is a relatively easy and even mundane task when printing posters, but actually the attachment of your posters is also something that you should take seriously. You cannot just post posters nowadays. With the myriad of locations and surfaces that you must post on, you need the proper tools and know-how before going around placing your posters. Your money in printing posters will only be wasted if you can post them properly.

So luckily for you, we have created this simple guide on how to properly post posters on different surfaces. Just follow the tips below and you should have no trouble.

For bare walls. If you want to post your color posters on a bare wall, there are a lot of options to do it. Anything from nails, tapes and adhesives can work for them. Since bare concrete walls or wooden walls should have no coatings or anything you should have an easy time placing your posters in them. For a nice and firm posting of your posters however, try to use a liquid adhesive to attach the poster to the wall. Adhesives provide the best and most airtight fit for poster attachment; you will find that it is very hard to remove a poster from a bare wall using it. So if you need a poster for a long time posted in a bare wall, liquid adhesives are your best option.

For bulletin boards. For bulletin boards that are specifically designed to contain posters and flyers, the best option is the one that should be already there in the board. Typically steel or metal pins are provided with bulletin boards so that people can post things into the board. The board itself is usually made of cork-like material so that the pins can easily puncture the board wall, setting the posters in place. As a standard procedure though, always bring your own pins when posting your poster so that you would not have to take from the board owner.

For painted/coated walls. When you need to place a poster on painted or coated walls, it is best to lay off on adhesives and tapes altogether. Especially for walls coated with wall paper, your posters may cause damage to the wall, once you tear them down. The adhesives in the tape or on the poster itself can actually stick to the paint or coating too much that it can tear them off the wall. So when you arrive at this situation your best strategy is to use nails, or something similar like screws. This will let you place your poster into the wall whilst doing minimal damage to the poster itself. Only a hole or two should be left after you remove your poster. If you are lucky, there might already be holes in the wall that other posters used earlier.

For glass surfaces. Finally, where working on glass, your best option for placing your posters is to use those little suction pads with hooks. These types of attachment hooks are easily available in hardware shops and other supply shops for posting materials. The suction pads can be quickly attached to a glass surface along with a little moisture while you attach the poster via its hooks on the opposite side. In this way, you do not damage the glass whatsoever, and you do not leave any kind of adhesive residue behind.

Great! Hopefully this helps you on the proper way to place your posters on different surfaces. As you can see each kind of surface has the perfect attachment process for it. So follow these tips well and you should have no problems with distributing your poster printing.

How to Design a Poster that Works for You

“What does that say?” “This doesn’t make any sense.” “I can’t even read that from here!”

These are some utterances you don’t want to hear about your poster at a trade show or worse yet, at a sales presentation. To be sure you have an effective poster that people understand, you need to do some planning first. You might think it’s only a poster, but that poster can make or break you and your sales presentation. If it’s confusing, you won’t make a sale. If it’s understandable and helps you get your point across, you’ll get a great response: “That graphic really helps clear it up.” “That makes much more sense when I can see it.”

To get those kinds of responses, follow these tips:

Plan before you draw

Before you put ink to poster, you should make a list of everything you want to include on the poster. Not only how many photos or graphics, but the topics you want the poster to cover. Your poster should focus on one main idea so as not to confuse people that are looking at it. Make sure that all of your graphics and text support that main idea. For instance, if your main idea is how your customer service has used an innovative system for handling customer complaints, don’t mention how great your product is. Mention your product only in terms of your customer service. If you want to talk about your great products, create another poster.

Sketch out your design on a piece of paper

Now that you know what you want your poster to focus on, starting sketching a rough draft of where you want to put graphics and text on your poster board. Turn a piece of notebook paper sideways, or landscape, and sketch boxes of where an image will go and where your text will go. You should label your text boxes with a general idea of what will go there, like “title” at the top, center of the poster and “photo” in the center of the poster.

Design your flow

As you’re sketching, or perhaps after you’re done, draw an arrow to follow the path you want readers to take when they look at your poster. You can create a flow that goes down the left-hand column and then jumps to the center column and on to the right-hand column, or you can flow by rows. If you design the flow in rows, start in the upper left-hand section of the poster and make your way straight over to the right, and then down to the next row. Make the flow logical. Now is not the time to confuse people by having them find the next part of the puzzle to read. If needed, number your poster sections so people can easily tell what to look at next.

Get your final sketch on the poster

If you’re doing the poster yourself, just assemble all the final pieces onto the poster board. If you’re having a professional printing company do the printing for you, give them your sketch and say you want it exactly like you have it planned. Don’t let them take the liberty of switching things around because they think it’ll look better.”
